The Hanged Man

A bizarre, darkly humorous adventure begins beneath an azure sky and leads to an oak tree where a man hangs from a thick rope. Beyond him, a village lies beneath a yellow moon, rising smoke, and creeping fog, while a cheerful tune abruptly gives way to the groaning rope. Designed for 4–6 high-level characters, the adventure centers on uncovering the circumstances behind the hanging, with seeking absolution proving as important as keeping one’s head.
