Thunderstone: Dragonspire

Players assemble and improve a personal deck of heroes, equipment, and supplies to explore a shifting dungeon and fight monsters. A row of dungeon cards is revealed from a monster deck; on a turn a player may visit the village to buy cards or level up heroes, or enter the dungeon to play cards, provide light, and attempt to defeat a chosen monster. Defeated monsters enter the player’s deck as victory-point cards and grant experience that can upgrade heroes into stronger versions. The game includes modular monster groups and setting cards that change global conditions, and ends when the hidden Thunderstone appears and is claimed; the highest victory-point total wins.
