An investigative horror roleplaying game set in the 1930s where player-characters pursue occult mysteries across urban streets, remote jungles, and crime scenes. Play centers on gathering clues with specialized investigative abilities, using outcomes of research and interrogation to uncover cults, forbidden tomes, and alien spoor while managing physical danger and fracturing sanity. Characters have measures for Sanity and Stability, investigative and general skills, and personal Drives that push them into peril. The rules support both Purist cosmic horror and pulp action, include guidance for Keepers on running adventures and campaigns, and provide sample campaign frames and a starter scenario. The Mythos is presented with new lore, monsters, and forensic details for mystery-focused play.
