Players cooperate to explore a tile-based, post-apocalyptic landscape and manage resources to complete scenario objectives. Each turn, players spend action points to move their meeples, reveal and place new tiles, scavenge for materials, interact with environmental hazards, and resolve combat with enemies. Players also allocate food and supplies to keep a central base functioning; if the base runs out of food before all objectives are met, the campaign fails. The setup mixes a variety of characters, hazards, enemies, and objectives for modular scenarios and replayable combinations.
