What Comes Before the First

On the strange world of Exodus, the party investigates the insect-like vespans’ references to the mysterious Gatekeepers, whose existence is absent from surviving records. Clues lead back to the First Ones, who enslaved all of Exodus two thousand years ago, and to the forgotten history known only to the godlike Kaga. This sidequest includes details about the First Ones, their views of life and what follows it, and three new magic items: dark ink, the hand of the mistress, and the hand of the wife.
