Players place one of 48 cross-shaped tiles on a shared grid, each tile marked with numbers 1–8 on its four arms. On a turn, a tile is added so its arms touch adjacent tiles; the active player scores when the numbers formed along contiguous lines sum to a multiple of 9. Special score sheets are provided to simplify tracking valid sums. Play continues as the board fills and players try to create scoring combinations using newly placed tiles and existing neighbors.
