A compact deck provides rules for a family of card games built around trick-taking, bidding and set collection. The headline game is a multi-player trick-taker with an escalating bidding phase: players reveal cards to bid, the highest bidder becomes Chief and names a partner, the Chief and Vice each select trumps, and players capture tricks to meet bids and score points. The 60-card deck uses five colored suits numbered 0–9 (with duplicate 1s and 7s) and cards marked with 0–2 triangles to indicate point value. Alternative games include Hearts-style avoidance, bid-forecasting trick-taking, a Rummy-like meld game, a simple arithmetic catching game for small groups, and older editions add a memory/calculation variant.

The idea is good, and I can see why so many people like it, but I'd rather play a trick-taking game that didn't require so much thought.
