Aqua Romana

Players act as architects and foremen building aqueducts across a shared board to supply water to Roman citizens. On a turn a player plays a tile to extend an aqueduct by choosing a worker and its architect, moves those pieces, and may close aqueducts that end at the board edge or at a mismatched neighbor. Closed aqueducts score by length (with doubled value for a second crossing of a tile). Play continues until no tiles can be placed for a full round, and the highest total score wins.
