Heroscape: The Lava Fields of Valhalla Terrain Expansion

This expansion adds volcanic terrain tiles and lava-field spaces to the battlefield, creating hazardous zones that change movement and risk assessment. Molten lava spaces are impassable in the basic game and become perilous in the master game: figures that move onto molten lava must roll a d20 to determine destruction (natural 20 survives; 1–19 destroys), while flying figures ignore this hazard. Lava field tiles have no effect in basic play but, in master rules, require end-of-round rolls with a combat die for each figure on those spaces; a skull result inflicts a wound. Contains over 120 hexes and requires a core battle set for play.
