Machi Koro: Bright Lights, Big City

Players act as mayors developing their own city districts, expanding beyond farms and factories into a lively tourist and nightlife hub. Each turn a player rolls one or two dice; matching roll results to owned establishments triggers income or special effects for the owner and sometimes for opponents. Money is spent to build new establishments or to complete landmark constructions that grant ongoing benefits. The game plays 2–5 players and focuses on engine-building and timing as players assemble combinations of buildings to influence future dice outcomes. Victory goes to the first player who finishes all of their landmarks.
