Paris: Orașul Luminilor

Two players compete to make their buildings the most admired under Paris’s new streetlights during the 1889 Exposition Universelle. On each turn players either place an oddly shaped building tile from their reserve or add more buildings to their reserve. The board’s cobblestone spaces come in four types: one player’s color, the other player’s color, neutral mixed spaces, and streetlights. In the scoring phase players place buildings onto their color or mixed spaces to position them near streetlights; buildings closer to more streetlights score higher. The player whose buildings collect the most public admiration wins.
