Woodland factions vie for control of a sprawling forest, each pursuing a different path to victory. Players assume asymmetric roles with unique actions, scoring methods, and turn structures that unfold in three phases: Dawn, Day and Twilight. One faction builds and defends structures to exploit resources; another erects and protects perches to reclaim prestige; a coalition spreads sympathy and influence across the map; a roving character completes quests and interacts opportunistically with others. Games end when a player reaches the victory threshold or fulfills a domination condition, and play emphasizes asymmetric interaction, area control and narrative-driven turns.
