Schnappt Hubi!

Schnappt Hubi! is a board game for 2–4 players. It plays in 20 minutes and is meant for ages 5 and up. Ludoya players call it best with 4.

Players work together as a team of hares and mice exploring a haunted square house built on a 4x4 grid. In the first phase, the group uses an electronic “compass” device to reveal wall types in chosen directions and constructs a 3D labyrinth of walls that can be passable by all, passable only by mice, passable only by hares, or completely blocked. The objective in this phase is to locate paired “magic doors” that require an animal on each side to open. After the magic doors are found, an electronic ghost appears and the device issues hints; players use deduction and cooperative movement to pinpoint the ghost’s location and chase it out of the house. Three difficulty levels adjust hint detail and, at the hardest level, impose a move-based timer.
