Players represent Helvetian tribes seeking prosperity through the exploitation and trade of underground resources. They acquire and construct buildings, mines, warehouses, and towns while buying and selling resources through a shared market. Each round includes resource extraction, bidding for turn order, construction, workforce and resource management, administration, and market speculation. Players also hold special Power cards, using one during the game. The game ends when a town or warehouse is filled, and points are awarded for developments and resources. Alternate rules provide draft-based starting setups and a simplified family version.
