Casting Shadows

Players explore a dark, enchanted map, gather resources, learn spells, summon a companion, and move across hex tiles to build their arsenal. Each turn players roll resource dice, spend up to four action points to travel, collect or refresh cards, reroll dice, remove cursed crystals, or cast spells from their spell book. Shadow energy accumulates as players absorb Shadow Fragments; reaching a threshold lets a character transform into a more powerful Shadow Form. Combat resolves through spell use and resource management, and play continues until only one player remains.
