Catan: Traveler – Compact Edition

Players collect resource cards and trade to build roads, settlements and cities in a compact, travel-sized layout of the island. On a turn the active player rolls dice, everyone collects resources from the board based on that roll, then the active player may trade with others and spend resources to build or upgrade locations for victory points. The board uses six rearrangeable land pieces instead of full hexes and stores components in folding drawers for portability. A two-player variant uses special cards that let one player take two cards from the opponent and give back one as a forced trade.

Catane Travel, un jeu astucieusement repensé pour être aisément transportable. Alors chapeau ?aux concepteurs, si la première version de voyage de 2002 était mal fichue avec des pions vite perdus celle-ci est parfaitement conçue : dés encapsulés ?dans un hexagone/ tuiles regroupées en morceaux recto-verso/ sabots permettant de ranger/distribuer les cartes/ les routes/colonies/villes s’insèrent parfaitement dans les trous. Le pion voleur est le seul élément non fixé lors d’une partie. Le plateau est un peu moins aléatoire par sa conception. Du coup on est tentés de donner 2 notes l’une pour cette version spécifique et l’autre pour le jeu qui ma foi, 20 ans après, ne suscite plus le même engouement qu’autrefois. Loin de moi de mettre aux orties tout ce qui est vieux…mais ce jeu de renommée mondiale est désormais trop dépendant du hasard? pour une durée somme toute déjà significative. Mais qu’importe, les colons resteront solidement ancrés dans le paysage ludique pour encore bien longtemps ! ??-?? Catan Travel : a really clever box. Note : 20 years ago Catan was one of our gateway games. Well, we now find too much luck ? inside this game and it turns a bit long for casual players. Sad to say it isn't as enjoyable to us as it used to be…. We give it a 8/10 rating as a travel game. But in 2019 our rating of Catan, base game only, falls to 5.5/10. And you, how to you feel playing Catan nowadays ? ?? Catan, version viaje ; ofrece la posibilidad de llevar el Catan a distintos lugares, jugar en avion o tren es posible sin perder elementos ? ! Se trate del juego de base sin expansiones. Todos los elementos están pensados inteligentemente para mantener y guardar un poco de espacio. Este edicion es una referencia hablando fabricación de juego de viaje. Bueno por tanto el juego sigue sin cambiar y, en nuestra opinión, es un poco pasado en 2019 con demasiado azar ?por esta duracion. Que piensas de Catan hoy ?
