Rivals for Catan: Deluxe

Players lead one of two rival principalities vying to build a realm on newly settled Catan. Each player manages a unique deck of cards to explore, settle, and develop lands, gaining resources by card play and die rolls. Gold and resource combinations enable construction, trade, and upgrades while players expand settlements into cities and recruit hero units. Play balances development, politics, invention, and intrigue as players deploy progress cards, use event outcomes, and contest control of territory. The deluxe edition organizes card piles with trays and adds several promotional cards to the card pool.
