+ Great components + Table presence + Very fun asymmetrical factions - Very random combat with no action/combat cards to help mitigate anything in crucial battles - Random VP gain by bag drawing - Every faction end up doing the same every game (somewhat depending on who you are up against) I prefer Root, Kemet and Forbidden Stars over this. Kemet may be what is closest.

Love the assymmetry and the maxi/minis (although they are bigger than needed probably). Very solid dudes on a map with tons of expansions and horror creatures. Enjoyed it every time I've played it!

Just because it has mini figures it's not a good game. Too many different skills for each unit. You can't remember all that stuff and then it happens a lot in the game that someone says "oh if you do that I can do this, bäm". And battles are just random dice rolling.
