Game of Thrones: The Iron Throne

Players each control a Great House vying for the Iron Throne through negotiated encounters and shifting alliances. Each turn centers on an encounter between two active players who assign characters, exchange offers, bluff, or bid cards; other players may throw support to either side, changing the balance of power. Encounters resolve as truces or hostilities, with winners seizing influence, taking hostages, or losing characters; negotiated concessions and hidden information shape outcomes as much as combat. The objective is to spread five units of a player’s influence onto opponents’ House cards, using diplomacy, betrayal, and tactical card play to secure the crown.
