Players take on the roles of characters trapped in a locked-room scenario and work together to find the exit by solving a sequence of puzzles. Challenges include logic problems, deduction tests, and jigsaw-style combinations using over 90 cards per adventure; many cards show numbers that can be paired to reveal interactions between objects and characters. Each standalone adventure has its own difficulty rating and can be played solo or cooperatively; sessions run roughly 90–120 minutes. Two play modes are provided: timed (using a chronometer) or untimed for a more leisurely experience. Characters face the risk of failure that can eliminate them during play.
