Operational-level simulation of the 1944 Ardennes offensive on two large maps, using the Standard Combat Series ruleset. Players maneuver battalion- to brigade-sized units across 1-mile hexes in day-by-day turns, conducting armored attacks, infantry defenses, bridge operations, artillery barrages and limited airborne or commando actions. Counters represent unit strengths and movement; play emphasizes movement, combined-arms assaults and exploitation of breakthroughs within multiple Bulge scenarios. Includes system and scenario-specific rules, dual-sided maps and large counter sheets. Designed for two players and offers medium solitaire potential with a medium-low complexity level and extended playtime.
