Axis & Allies: 1942

It is spring 1942 and the major powers fight for global supremacy. Players take command of one national faction and manage its wartime economy, move and build military units, and plan coordinated attacks across land, sea, and air. Conflict is resolved with area control and dice-based combat as forces contest territories and key cities; victory goes to the coalition that captures or holds the most victory locations. The game uses an expanded map and a mix of plastic miniatures representing naval, air, and ground units, with updated unit types and streamlined rules for anti-air and strategic bombing.
