Citizens of the Spark

Players build a city populated by animal citizens who have gained intelligence and unique powers. Each round, players recruit groups of citizen cards from a shared deck and add them to their tableau, clustering like types to increase those citizens’ action strength. On a turn a player activates one citizen type in their city to take its effect and then discards that card; other players may follow by activating the same type from their own tableaus. Games use a variable set-up of 7–10 citizen types chosen from a pool of 30, creating different combinations of powers each play. Sparks are claimed during play, and the player with the most sparks when the deck depletes wins.
