Cutthroat Kingdoms

Six noble houses contest the unclaimed throne of Aurum while a plague ravages the kingdom. Players command armies, claim territories, gather wealth, recruit hirelings, and employ mercenaries as they pursue power through military action and political intrigue. Assassinations, shifting events, open negotiation, and strategic alliances shape the conflict. Players may compete independently or form marriage alliances with another house, while changing territories and events create a different struggle each game.
