Dao

A two-player abstract game played on a 4x4 board with four pieces per player. Pieces begin in diagonal formations and move in straight lines, including diagonally, as far as possible without jumping. Players win by arranging their pieces in a non-diagonal straight line, occupying all four corners, or forming a 2x2 square. Trapping an opponent’s piece in a corner causes the player responsible to lose.
