Eight-Minute Empire

Players expand a civilization across a compact map by taking cards from a shared display. Each card grants a good and an immediate action—such as moving armies by land or sea, producing new units, or founding cities—that is used to place or contest control in regions. Points come from majority control of regions and continents plus sets of collected goods, so play balances tactical area control with set collection. Turns are quick and driven by a changing market of six face-up cards whose prices rise as they are chosen.
