In Magnificent Style: Pickett's Charge at Gettysburg

A solitaire tactical wargame that recreates the Confederate mass assault across open ground at Gettysburg on 3 July 1863. The player commands Longstreet’s men, managing movement and timing as troops cross deadly terrain under sustained enemy fire. Play unfolds over five turns, each representing about ten minutes, during which the player decides whether to press forward in bounds or pause to regroup. Units are represented by round and square counters on an 11×17 map, and play emphasizes risk management as casualties and timing determine the ability to bring enough men to the final assault.
