March on the Drina

Strategic wargame about the World War I Balkan Peninsula theater. Austria-Hungary, Germany, and Bulgaria invade Serbia, while Serbian forces seek to defend and liberate their territory. Players maneuver infantry, cavalry, artillery, and generals across a hex-based map, with one unit per hex. Controlling cities provides military capacity for reinforcements, while generals grant special abilities to units under their command. The game lasts up to 14 rounds, each representing a period of the 1914–1918 conflict and introducing special effects through Calendar cards.
