Players lead a homesteading family in an Old West town, developing farms, ranches and silver mines while the community grows over four years. On each turn a player selects a family member to perform distinct actions—buy property, work a mine or farm, construct or use town buildings, reserve and fulfill contracts, or hire workers—using character and worker skills to boost results. Events each year affect production and resources, and workers depart at year’s end unless integrated into the family. Score comes from building construction and fees, completing contracts, and private goal comparisons. Advanced rules add extra buildings, market volatility, gambling, and conflict with unruly workers.
