Players manage racing teams across short, 5–6 lap grands prix, choosing tyres, timing pit stops and managing car damage and weather conditions. Gameplay uses four tyre types (soft, hard, intermediate, heavy rain) and a pit lane mechanic for tyre changes and repairs, while players allocate brake, engine and driver points to influence performance. Overtaking is resolved via an auction mechanic and involves tactical timing. The game models collisions and mechanical breakdowns and offers asymmetric drivers and teams. A campaign mode links multiple races into a world championship across eight different circuits.
