Turn by turn, players bid on and purchase plants, acquire resources, and extend their network between settlements while balancing income and expenses. A hiring and staffing mechanic lets players invest in permanent workers to avoid costly seasonal labor, creating an economic trade-off between short-term flexibility and long-term efficiency.
