Shifting Sands: The Campaign for North Africa 1940-1943

A card-driven, point-to-point simulation of the World War II campaigns in North Africa and the Middle East from 1940–1943. Players use separate Allied and Axis card decks to generate operations, events, and logistical effects while moving faction units along a map of key locations including the Abyssinian theater and the Mediterranean flank. Gameplay emphasizes maneuver, supply, and timed events from other theaters that can disrupt plans; a campaign of scenarios and objectives guides strategic goals while commanders balance offensive drives against attrition and logistics. Components include a large map, unit counters, and two player decks that drive actions and historic events.
