Two-player game on the Battle of First Bull Run, the opening major campaign of the American Civil War in Virginia. Players command Union and Confederate regiments led by commanders including Sherman, Jackson, Burnside, and Johnston. The Blind Swords system reflects the confusion of inexperienced armies: units may fail to respond to orders, hold their fire, or mistake friendly troops for the enemy. Players maneuver formations and manage combat across a chaotic battlefield where early Union success turns into a Confederate victory.
