The Republic of Carthage

Politicians compete and work together to guide the Carthaginian Republic through approximately 350 years of expansion, internal difficulties, trade, and war. Players balance personal ambitions with the survival of their republic as Carthage develops its empire and eventually clashes with Rome. The game can be played standalone or as an expansion to The Republic of Rome, adding a separate board, cards, and pieces for the Carthaginian leaders.
