Warbirds: Duel of Eagles 1939-1945 – Module 1: Blitzkrieg

A World War II air-combat module covering rapid advances in aircraft engines, airframes, weapons, and radar from 1939 to 1945. Players use aircraft data cards and throttle settings such as Military and War Emergency Power to manage speed, thrust, fuel consumption, and overheating during missions. Rules also address weapon harmonization, gun sights, compressibility, armor, turbochargers, water injection, nitrous oxide, shell penetration, and ground-unit armor thickness. Limited over-boost duration and fuel range make power management important during flight operations.
