A medieval setting mixes historical life with folkloric horror: monasteries, markets, smithies and courts sit alongside haunted forests, lonely caves and hidden rituals. The book presents a detailed, research-grounded take on late medieval Iberia where demons, fae and witchcraft intrude on everyday existence. Players create and develop characters—peasants, soldiers, clergy, craftsmen and occultists—and face social, investigative and supernatural challenges. Rules update the classic system with new mechanics to resolve risky and occult situations, while the color volume emulates illuminated manuscripts and includes two alternative covers.
