Gaza 1917: Gateway to Jerusalem

In April 1917, British Empire forces attack Ottoman positions near Gaza to open the road toward Jerusalem and Damascus. The game covers the second British assault after the initial attack was repulsed. Using a Fire & Movement system, players maneuver regiments and brigades across hexes representing three-quarters of a mile and commit support fire during combat. Mortars, artillery, aircraft, and bombers can strengthen attacks or disrupt apparently secure advances. British numbers and firepower oppose Ottoman defensive positions, leadership, and time, making victory depend on maneuver, firepower, and careful management of available assets.
