Players take the roles of 17th-century founders fleeing Salem during the witch trials and establish a new settlement. Through hidden identities, card drafting, deduction, and set collection, righteous players construct required buildings while secretly opposing witches add pestilence to the town. If pestilence remains low, the righteous player with the most victory points wins; otherwise, the most evil witch prevails.
