Not Alone

Players take roles on a stranded expedition on an alien world: one player controls the predatory Creature while the others are the shipwrecked Hunted. The Hunted explore Artemia by playing Place cards and managing Survival cards to move, hide, mislead, and stall until rescue arrives. The Creature plays Hunt cards and uses planet-specific powers to stalk, reveal, and assimilate the Hunted, aiming to track them down or exhaust their options. Play emphasizes asymmetry, bluffing, deduction, and hand management, with a light deck-building element for both sides.

Hace años que conocí #NotAlone y aunque la primera partida me resultó un poco complicada de entender el juego me fascinó. Me encantan los juegos asimétricos de uno contra el resto aunque en mi ludoteca solo están este y #AttackOnTitanFinalBattle, siendo ambos juegos muy diferentes pero intensos. Para mi, lo mejor del juego es que el nivel de tensión va aumentando durante la partida, mientras se acercan los tokens a la casilla final del tablero. Es muy importante, como en todos los cooperativos, ponerse de acuerdo con el resto de jugadores, pero esto a su vez da pistas a la criatura que nos puede romper la estrategia. El único problema que le veo es que la criatura debe ser controlada por un jugador que ya conozca el juego, pero eso tiene fácil solución.

When I add the Exploration expansion, which Hunt or Survival cards do I remove or replace?

The expansion requires you to replace specific Hunt and Survival cards and add the expansion's Place and Hunt cards as instructed in the setup notes (see page 1).

How do I set up the Artemia map and its new components?

The component list and full Artemia setup procedure are given on page 2; place the Artemia components and prepare the expansion's Place/Hunt/Survival cards, then apply the special-location rules noted there (page 2).
