Peak Courage: The Battle for Mount Hermon – October 1973

A wargame covering the Israeli assaults to retake the Mount Hermon outpost from Syrian commandos during the October 1973 Yom Kippur War. The first attack takes place in daylight and fails; two weeks later, a night assault recaptures the position after heavy fighting. The game uses area movement and an impulse system, with turns representing two hours and units ranging from individual vehicles to companies. It supports solitaire play and takes approximately 1–2 hours, using a map, counters, a ten-sided die, and a standard deck of playing cards.
