S.H.E.O.L.

Survivors shelter inside a towering Citadel while a black tide called Sheol blankets the outside world and chokes the sun. Scouts sally forth from the Citadel to explore desolate terrain, gather scarce resources and uncover the origins of the shadows. Players cooperate in linked missions and campaigns, managing characters, equipment and unlockable skills. Each mission requires tactical coordination to achieve objectives while preventing waves of shadow enemies from overrunning the Citadel's defenses. The game emphasizes narrative progression, campaign choices and strategic resource allocation across solo or up to four-player sessions.
