Shiloh: Bloody April, 1862

This historical wargame depicts the two-day Battle of Shiloh in April 1862. Each turn represents one hour, while each map hex covers 100 yards, with brigades serving as the main maneuver units. Players move, organize, and fight forces through phases for disorganization, movement, combat, and reorganization. Rules cover roads, surprise, fatigue, routs, ranged fire, reinforcements, army organization, gunboats, and night operations. Three scenarios cover the first day, the second day, or the full battle, with historical setups provided; shorter scenarios take about four hours. Solitaire play is supported.
