The Dogs of War

NATO vs. Warsaw Pact in the BAOR sector during a 1985 assault across West Germany. A detailed operational wargame of mechanized warfare, featuring regiment- and battalion-sized units, command and control problems, electronic warfare, reconnaissance, artillery, close air support, attack helicopters, engineers, and chemical and nuclear weapons. Players manage doctrine, logistics, communications, and limited time across campaigns and smaller scenarios. Random events and ambiguous battlefield information can disrupt plans, while each side uses its own military strengths and vulnerabilities to outmaneuver the opposing force.
