The Taint: A Game of Unwilling Heroes

A modern world hides a mysterious force known as the Taint, which may be a mutation, divine mark, alien experiment, or secret genetic technology. Those affected develop trans-human abilities and face conflicting beliefs about whether they are threats, chosen saviors, or something no longer human. Players portray unwilling heroes discovering the nature and limits of their powers while dealing with government intervention, public suspicion, competing explanations, and other Tainted individuals.
