Triumph & Tragedy

A set of skirmish wargame rules for conflicts from 1900 to 1939, covering settings such as Russia, China, India, and Africa. Games can follow historical events or take a more cinematic approach. Each squad and vehicle has a card placed in a secret order. Cards are revealed one at a time to determine which unit acts, along with an action card specifying what it does. Eight actions cover movement, shooting, and specialized abilities for squad leaders and heroes. Units use experience-based scores for task rolls, with situational modifiers and d10 tests; morale and other special tests use 2d6. Rules also include campaigns, artillery, air support, and customizable heroes.
