Players take the role of the Skaven, the scheming rat-people who dwell beneath the world in darkness. They plot, manipulate rivals, and work toward the downfall of the surface-dwelling races while serving the Horned Rat. The setting places Skaven intrigue and ancient ambitions at the center of play, alongside their claims of having survived—and influenced—the major events of the world.
