Hour of Need

Players take on the roles of comic-book heroes defending civilians and the world from villainous schemes that span reality and the inter-dimensional Astrallacy. The game uses modular fixed decks for heroes, villains, and issues; each playthrough pairs a hero deck with a villain and an issue deck to present challenges and objectives. Players play simultaneously, use their hero decks to solve problems, thwart schemes, and coordinate actions, working toward revealing the villain and preparing for a final confrontation. The game supports cooperative play for 1–4 players (expandable), features detailed miniatures, and emphasizes tactical teamwork and deck-driven comic-book storytelling.
