Police Precinct

This is for the 2nd edition and all it's corrections. This game can either be fully co-op, or have 1-2 traitors. My preference is to play with a random number of traitors. Players take on the role of officers who are trying to solve a murder before the timer runs out. Solving the murder requires drawing cards out of different piles around the board. Each player's character is bent towards one of several action options, which adds a nice asymmetry. At the end of each player's turn a new disaster spawns, and disasters left untended push the endgame marker forward. Resolving the disasters does require some die luck, but it's mitigatable, so I don't find it that troublesome. The game is thematic and fun, and really intense if you can't discern who the traitors are in time. ★ Art, Iconography and components functional ★ Clever or interesting mechanisms ★ Reasonably low downtime between turns with mildly AP players ★ Multiple plays stay interesting ★ Low or mitigatable luck elements ★☆☆☆☆ Raw enjoyment
