1713: Menorca under British rule

An 18xx-family economic game set on an 18th-century Mediterranean island under foreign rule, focused on trade and corporate influence rather than railways. Players act as investors running historical corporations and private companies, building maritime and overland networks that connect the island’s ports, interior towns, and progressively opening external markets. Gameplay proceeds through four historical phases that introduce new ship types and trade links, while private companies provide asymmetric abilities. Players buy and operate companies, lay routes with ships and carts, manage revenue and investments, and compete for control of key hubs such as the island’s main harbour. The game ends on specific historical triggers or when the bank is depleted.
