Players move into a devastated solar system to extract valuable fragments from unstable planets while forming temporary alliances with rivals. Each turn a player either draws three cards from the market (Blueprints and Hired Paws) or attempts an Extract action on a planet. Blueprints show fragment sets that score victory points and grant special abilities; Hired Paws provide skills needed to meet planet requirements. Extraction typically requires combining pawns with other players, producing negotiation and division of rewards. The game ends when a player completes six blueprints; the player with the most victory points wins.
